New products are coming from Microsoft during this fall. The new mixed reality and artificial intelligence (AI) applications for Microsoft Dynamics 365 are coming, updating business solutions with intelligence, adaptability, efficiency and agility. Solutions updated for today business needs, anticipating tomorrow’s needs as well, being this Microsoft and Microsoft Dynamics 365 philosophy, introduced two years ago to break down the knotty mechanisms of traditional Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
It could not be otherwise, in a context in which companies, to not lose ground, are pushed to constantly innovate, enhancing business models, with their eyes always turned to customer satisfaction and to the response to the growing market demands.
It is the small price to pay to keep a high interconnection, both with competitors and users. Business processes need constant reorganization, and solutions that involve customers satisfaction and make employees more productive.
Data analysis, proactive intelligence, adaptable applications and solutions, forecasting trends and market focus: these are the “mobile pillars” of 4.0 companies, key elements, but in continuous evolution.
Nothing is gained if nothing evolves.
This redefinition of the business efficiency parameters requires a constant proactive glance towards new solutions.
With Microsoft Dynamics 365, this is the new timetable. New applications absorb sophisticated processes and make them simple, they are refined more and more through intelligence and adaptability, integrated with Office 365 and built natively on Microsoft Azure.
AI
The new mixed reality and AI applications represent a further step in this direction.
The AI offer for Dynamics 365 includes a series of applications that will provide insights into the actions to be taken, combining data and directing them towards intelligent responses, allowing organizations to anticipate requests. Intuitions will be easily extensible thanks to the power of Microsoft BI, Azure and Power Apps, and this will allow users to face complex scenarios, specific to their industry.
The same forecasts coming from artificial intelligence engines will be carried also for sales: priority will be given to the most important businesses and actions, and answers will be given to the most common questions regarding the sales teams performance, with a detailed analysis of the sales pipeline.
Thanks to Microsoft Artificial Intelligence and to the understanding of natural language, the reworked data slots will be critical to enhance customer service. Automated insights will also guide employees to take actions, reducing costs and eliminating the need for additional intermediaries.
Better insights on the market lead to better decisions and targeted strategies. This is also true for marketers, for those who take care of the company exposure on the web and socials and aim to intercept market trends.
MIXED REALITY
In addition to the extraordinary contribution of AI, there are new mixed reality applications: Dynamics 365 Remote Assist and Dynamics 365 Layout.
Dynamics 365 Remote Assist and Dynamics 365 Layout are two new Microsoft apps developed to exploit Microsoft HoloLens (Mixed Reality viewer, which arrived in Italy one year ago) in different ways.
Dynamics 365 Remote Assist allows a remote viewer to assist a front-line operator. Remote Assist would allow a technician or a support resource to see (remotely) what you are seeing through the viewer, with the ability to be guided where you are not sure about how to act or correct any errors in time. At the same time, those connected remotely may use Skype to get more detailed information.
Dynamics 365 Layout, on the other hand, uses the mixed reality viewer to scan the surrounding physical area. Users can create three-dimensional models of anything (work tables, tools, machinery, areas) and use Layout to “interact” with objects, place them virtually within a structure. All this allows to map a customer experience in a virtual space.
New solutions are coming, new solutions will come. Stay tuned.
